Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez has been an Cuban and American television arbitrator since Caso Cerrado. She was born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami at the age of 2 years old, accompanied with her parents. Ana Maria Polo, a resident of Habana Cuba is host of the renowned Telemundo show "Caso Cerradowhich was the first Spanish program that was nominated for an Emmy award within the category of Daytime Entertainment. The program was ranked by 2015 as the number one television show in Spanish for the evening time slot at 4pm for all demos. Polo graduated from Florida International University with a academic degree in political science. She was born in Havana on April 11, 1959. After obtaining her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. After that, she earned her PhD in Law at the University of Miami. Polo made her first appearance on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal expertise was also employed in other court shows. Literary Works and Accolades in 1958, she released her book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) and was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in the year 1960. Polo speaks frequently and helps raise money to support the LGBT rights. She's always been an advocate for LGBT issues. She received her law degree in 1987 from law school at the University of Miami School of Law in 1987. She is an attorney in the Florida Bar.
