Emily Procter

 

American actress Emily Mallory Procter, born on October 8, 1968, is also an activist. She was Ainsley Hayes's character on The West Wing, a NBC political drama (2000-2002 and 2006) and also played Det. Calleigh Duquesne in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: Miami (2002-2012).



 



 Early life



 Procter was born on 8 October in 1968. William Procter, an obstetrician took her in as an infant and Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. Procter was raised in Raleigh. When her parents divorced she was only three years old. older. Whit her older brother, has also been adopted.



 



 Ravenscroft School, Raleigh was Procter's primary school. While attending East Carolina University, Procter was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Procter was a TV anchor for news at WNCT in Greenville, North Carolina. She later graduated with degrees in journalism dance.
